My Wings and I

By Diego

One sunny morning I woke up and I went to look at myself in the long mirror. I had wings! I flapped my big, white, fluffy wings and started flying!

Next, I decided to walk to the San Diego Park and I put my jacket on, so no one would see my wings. Then, I went down the long stairs and out the back door. But when I was outside I wanted to go flying. So, I took off my jacket and put it on the ground. I started flying very high and off I went to the park.

As I was flying I heard the ice cream truck and I looked back. Suddenly, while I was looking back I felt that my wings were not moving. I saw that I was stuck in a tree! While I was stuck in the tree, I felt that something was rumbling in my pocket. It was my cell phone! Next, I got my cell phone and I called my mom. My mom said, “I will be there with a ladder.’’

Finally, my mom came with the ladder I got out of the tree and I showed my wings to my mom and she said, “Well, ok, I think you can go flying home and I will go in the big car to the house.”
