Wings
by Jasmine
One morning, I felt something on my back. Afterward, I ate pancakes and sausages. Next, I went to go play video games. All of a sudden, I was inside the video game!
That’s when the funny thing on my back stopped, and I looked behind me. I had sparkly, blue wings. I said to myself “My dream finally came true!”
Then, I started flapping my wings. I was flapping my sparkly blue wings faster and faster. Suddenly, I started to fly higher and higher! I looked down, and everything was so small! I thought this was all dream, but it wasn’t! I also wasn’t inside the video game! My mom said, “We’re going to go to the surgeon as fast we can! C’mon.”
While mom was driving she was also growing wings, but hers were black and white; my mom’s two favorite colors! I said to mom “ Mom do you know you are also growing wings?” Mom said “No why ”Then I said because you are growing wings! My mom said “Ahhhh” so she drove even faster to the medical doctor. The doctor thought she was joking! My mom finished explaining our story to her. The doctor said “You two have to stay at home until you don’t have wings anymore.”
The next day, we didn’t have our wings, but we can breathe out fire instead! But, that is another horrible, terrible story! “L

My Wings and I
By Diego
One sunny morning I woke up and I went to look at myself in the long mirror. I had wings! I flapped my big, white, fluffy wings and started flying!
Next, I decided to walk to the San Diego Park and I put my jacket on, so no one would see my wings. Then, I went down the long stairs and out the back door. But when I was outside I wanted to go flying. So, I took off my jacket and put it on the ground. I started flying very high and off I went to the park.
As I was flying I heard the ice cream truck and I looked back. Suddenly, while I was looking back I felt that my wings were not moving. I saw that I was stuck in a tree! While I was stuck in the tree, I felt that something was rumbling in my pocket. It was my cell phone! Next, I got my cell phone and I called my mom. My mom said, “I will be there with a ladder.’’
Finally, my mom came with the ladder I got out of the tree and I showed my wings to my mom and she said, “Well, ok, I think you can go flying home and I will go in the big car to the house.”
