My Wings on Me

by Yvette

Once upon a time I could not go to sleep so I went to drink a glass of milk but I could not go to sleep so I went to the bookshelf. I got a book called, Vaya Drama I read it all but I could not sleep and I needed to go to the restroom. I looked at the mirror and I had wings!

I woke my mother, she saw me she was so worried. Then my mother called the magic woman. She came as fast as she could. She was trying her best but she couldn’t take my wings off. I was so upset. I was thinking how to go to school tomorrow. I told my parents about it they didn’t know what to do. I had to go to school with wings on me. Next day it was Monday. I was late for school. I went inside I saw all the kids they saw me I was so nervous. They were laughing at me with my wings! I ran to the restroom crying, I saw my friends they saw me too. They didn’t laugh at me they hugged me and I told them what happened.

I told them that when I woke up I had wings on me. I told the teacher what happened to me she didn’t care, she ignored me and I told the principal that I have wings on me, he told me to leave the school.  I said “ but I can’t leave the school I have a test to do today.’’ So I left home flying but I saw the magic woman, I went with her and she knew how to take my wings off. But I wanted my wings on me.  It’s much better with the wings. So I told my parents if I could have my wings on me and they said yes! I was so happy to have my wings. So you read my story but now I want to read yours.

My Adventurest Wings

By Brittany

One Thursday morning I got up and I had wings! Janae woke up and said, “Oh my gosh, Brittany you have wings!” I said, ‘‘I know but I don’t know how I got them.” I thought how I got these. So, I said, ‘‘I know, probably my sister, Brianna tried to trick me.” Janae said, ‘‘try to take them off. So, I tried to take them off and they couldn’t come off. And I said, ‘‘Oh my gosh!’’ And then, I looked at the clock and I was late for school!

I got dressed and I realized my shirts didn’t fit over my wings! So I had to slice open my clothes. Then, I could go to school. When I arrived at school all the kids started to laugh at me.

They started to call me names like wing girl and wing nerd. A second later, I ran to the girl’s restroom and started to cry. After that, I went to the principal’s office. And the principal said, “take off those wings we don’t have time to play around. And I said, “These are real wings and I don’t know how I got them!” The principal said, “Wait here I’ll get a doctor.” So I waited and as I was waiting I started to fly. My wings took me everywhere like Hollywood and Florida. I said in my head this is great.

A minute later we were at Florida. What I did, was go on the red carpet and meet Hannah Montana! And I almost fainted because I love her. By noon my wings started to shrink, when I got home they were gone. I was so happy. I shouted out finally I could sleep normally and I don’t have to cut my shirts in the back!
